Kendell Carter's "It Is What It Is, But It Isn't"

 Tomorrow night artist Kendell Carter will be in Savannah for an artist talk about his work at Pinnacle Gallery. Ben worked closely with the artist for his Atlanta show and had nothing but great things to say about him. I know we all over use the word "cool" but In Carter's case I REALLY mean it. It is really cool. There are unexpected nuances to his work—texture and color accents you would never think to pair but Carter does. He does it masterfully. Expect gold leaf, neon... do I have to say more?! Reception to follow after the lecture.
